APEX Institute is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2001 to investigate sites in the Bahamas and other places around the world that might provide evidence of ancient advanced civilizations. As an education and research based organization, APEX Institute also strives to serve as an umbrella under which others with similar interests can explore and discover.

APEX Institute continues the work started by The Atlantis Organization (T.A.O.) which began expeditions to the Bahamas in 1997.
